WiktorPawlikowski.

Fullstack developer.

Five years building web and mobile products in TypeScript, mostly on teams small enough that I work across the whole stack.

01

The short version

Most of what I build is web and mobile products in TypeScript. React and Next.js on the front end, Node and Postgres behind it, React Native when the thing has to run on a phone.

I have spent most of my career on small teams, where nobody stays purely frontend for long. That is how I ended up shipping Stripe billing, authentication, CI pipelines and an on-chain wallet within the same few years, and how I ended up leading a team at Cloudware earlier than I expected to.

The work I care most about is the part that is easiest to skip: what a screen does while it waits for data, what an error actually tells you, how a form behaves when someone fills it in wrong. That is usually what separates software people tolerate from software people trust.

I moved from Warsaw to Málaga in 2025. I work remotely, in Polish, English and Spanish.

Currently building

A language learning app built around plain explanations, spaced repetition and listening material that sounds like real speech rather than textbook dialogue. It came out of learning Spanish after moving here.

  • An ebook reader with cloud sync, highlighting, bookmarks, notes and inline translation, on top of Stripe-powered free and premium tiers. Built end to end, including the subscription logic and the reading-position sync.

  • Wordle and Spelling Bee, rebuilt from scratch. Keyboard-first, with the puzzle state held so that a refresh or a second tab cannot corrupt a game in progress.

  • Internal platform for the Polish Wrestling Federation: training schedules, attendance tracking and coordination between trainers and athletes. Replaced a process that ran on paper and phone calls.

    Built with
    • React

    • Styled Components
    • Axios
    Internal — not public
  • An editorial one-pager built without an animation library. The reveals are CSS and the content is server-rendered, so the page reads properly before any JavaScript runs.

Off the clock

i

Rollerskating

Most of my time away from a screen is spent on skates, usually along the seafront.

ii

Motorcycles

Long routes inland, mostly alone. The main reason I know the roads around Málaga better than the city.

iii

Baking

Bread, most weekends.

iv

Languages

Polish, English, Spanish. The third one is still in progress, and it is why I started building Hablalo.
